Club Rules
1. Pay only when you Play.
Meaning:
Each visit, when you play it will cost you a small sum of around 2 to 3
pounds. The sum varies depending on the number of peeps that turn
up that week - we have a minimum cost to rent the hall and we want to
make sure that we make that at the very least. You are quite welcome to
pay more if you so desire - this is your club as much as anyone else's
and the money the club has the better the resources we can provide.
Please note that this token amount must be paid, no money, no gaming.
However, you can still paint, build, chat and drink tea without paying -
nice huh? :)
2. Respect.
Meaning:
All the scenery and gaming boards have been made/bought for you; in
return all we ask is that you treat the provided items as if they were
your own. If by chance you happen to mistreat your own things, then do
not treat ours this way. Otherwise our very own zombie will eat your
brains for dinner...
3. Opening Times.
Meaning:
We are open from 7.30pm to Midnight. Please ensure that you allow
enough time to clear away all tables and boards before this time. After
this time your handsome management team will feed you to the club zombie
as listed above!
4. Making a mess.
Meaning:
Mess happens. Any and all mess you make you are responsible for
clearing up and throwing away. The building must be left exactly how we
found it, no exceptions!
5. Beardy game play.
Meaning:
Everybody has the desire to win, we all want that perfect army, but
please play within the spirit of the game and if you cannot agree on an
issue, simply speak to one of the management team and they will assist
in creating an amicable solution for both players.
6. Interferance.
Meaning:
Quite simple really, if you want to watch then watch, do not help or
hinder in any way. By all means gasp in amazement as well laid plans go
drastically wrong or cheer if the underdog smites his foe. But do not
interfere.
There are games where the help or advice is wanted and indeed sought
for, but other games where people's league rankings might be at stake
are a no no for this kind of activity.
7. Your possessions.
Meaning:
Any possessions of yours are your responsibility, be it cases, models,
or personal effects. If you damage or lose something the club accepts no
responsibility.
8. Theft.
Meaning:
Theft will not be tolerated in the slightest! In any sense of the
meaning! If you are caught stealing you will be immediately ejected,
never to return and the police may well be informed and brought to bear
on you....just don't do it!
9. Behaviour.
Meaning:
WEGC is a fun place, and we encourage you to have fun at all times,
however there is a “line” that shalt not be crossed. Persistent
swearing directed at any one individual, racism, sexism, ageism or
bullying will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly with
the appropriate punishment administered.
10. Thou shalt have FUN!
This club is for you! You may feel that the rules are harsh for a gaming club, but they are there for one reason only, and that is to achieve our primary objective………
